Terms and conditions

agreement to terms of use

These Terms of Use govern your use of The Toy Rental service and website. By using, visiting, or browsing The Toy Mahal Services LLP website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you should not use The Toy Mahal service or website. These Terms of Use are an ongoing contract between you and The Toy Mahal Services LLP and apply to your use of The Toy Rental service and website.

The Toy Mahal Services LLP reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions from time to time, at its own discretion, without prior notice.

the rental service

The Toy Mahal Services LLP is both an online service as well as a walk-in toy rental store providing its customers with access to a wide and comprehensive range of stimulating and unique toys for kids, from newborns - 7 years old. Our toys are focused on promoting fine and gross motor, sensory, cognitive and emotional development.

Note that “the rental date” starts from the day the customer reserves the toy for collection from our showroom or the toy/s is/are delivered.

Our toys can be rented by customers for the duration mentioned in the plan sheet.

  1. Before the customer decides to send us a rental request, we expect him/her to read or have read the terms and conditions in full carefully. If you disagree with the terms and conditions, then you should not go ahead with the rental request. If you agree however, then you can do the following. 
  2. Browse the website and make a selection of the rental items required. 
  3. Using our email address, send us an email with your selected item list, Whatsapp the wish list or can call us on 9898969594
  4. For rotation of toys Customer will get SMS / Email reminder on 8th OR 9th & 13th OR 14th Day (as per selected plan), customer will be given 2 days to select the toys, if fail to select toys then on 10th OR 15th day (as per selected plan) the account will be freezed for 24 hours, post which customer can select fresh toys.
  5.  On confirmation of toys we will deliver it within 48 working hours  however delays could happen due to unavoidable circumstances. Toy Mahal can not be held responsible for such delays.
  6. Maximum 2 rideons in a month will be available.(As per plan & As per availability)
  7. Electronic Rideons are available In Toddler, Rider & Tomm & Zerry Plan. ( One Ride on / month available in toddler plan )
  8. Members are requested to please leave the toys with a friend or neighbours and inform toy mahal in case they are going out of home/station so that delivery team can pick it up from there. This is to avoid delay in delivery and inconvenience to other members. Any repeat visit will cost 50/- per visit to the member which he has to pay to delivery person.
  9.  Toys once delivered will not be taken back. Reasons like " It is small/big for my child, it was looking different on website" etc. will not be entertained and a member has to keep the toys with him for the assigned period.
  10. In case of damages at members place our technical person will be there to resolve the issue within 24 hours (working days) if the damage is intentional than member has to bear the repairing cost else technician will repair it and in case it is not repairable the toys will get exchanged with another toy by Toy mahal.
  11. Toy Mahal staff will not do the selection on the behalf of members. Members are requested no to pressurise them for doing so. This is required to maintain the confidentiality of data and member rights.
  12. Members are requested to please return the toys in good and clean condition. They are also requested to return all the toys in one go reasons like " person is not at home so we don't know where the toys are kept, Madam/sir is out we can't give the toys unless they tell us, not opening the door, etc." will not be entertained and an amount of 100/- Rs would be charged for next visit.
  13. Customrs will get rotation count which needs to be completed within the stipulated time ( 1 month = 2 rotation , 3 months = 9 rotations, 6 months = 12 rotations, 12 months = 24 rotations). Exlcuding Tom & Zerry plan.
  14. Customer are requested to complete your selected plan before expiry date. (1 month plan = 30 days validity , 3 months plan = 90 days validity, 6 months plan = 240 days validity, 12 months plan = 540 days validity

rental fees

We rent out toys for whatever length of time a customer wants depending upon the availability and demand for that particular toy however minimum commitment is for a month  and a monthly rental as per the membership plan would be charged.

 Money Back Plan Is Applicable For Members Enrolling On Or After 1st September 2016. ( Now Closed )

The Toy Mahal Services LLP reserves the right at its sole discretion to amend the rental fees of toys and services from time to time without prior notice. 
The rotation period is set as follows:

  • Every 10th day  from day of delivery of toys (In Tom & zerry plan)
  • Every 15th day  from day of delivery of toys (In Chotta Bheem & Doremon plan)
  • Every 15th day  from day of delivery of toys (In Infant, Toddler & Rider plan)
    Note that the time of day toys get rented, collected, delivered, returned or picked up does not apply.

deposit fee

The Toy Mahal Services LLP takes a one refundable deposit fee which varies between 1000/- to 3000/- Rs. Depending upon the plan from every customer for all current and future rental transactions. The deposit fee will be refunded if or when the customer ceases to use our rental services. This deposit will be refunded in the form of cash/cheque/NEFT. There will not be any interest on refundable deposit.

Cheque refunds will only be made to customers who provide their full names and correct mailing addresses. Cheques that are issued in the wrong name which the customer will have provided, or are returned in the post due to incorrect address which the customer has provided will not be re-issued or reposted. But the customer can come to the office and receive a refund in cash or corrected cheque or the customer can send us a self addressed postage paid envelope for reposting a returned cheque. 

delivery and return of rented toys

Delivery and return of toys is done by our dedicated team of delivery men. We reserve the right to process orders, allocate toys and schedule deliveries and pickups to and from our customers in any manner that we, in our sole and absolute discretion, determine. In addition, we will, in our sole and absolute discretion, determine the quantity of Toys we purchase of any brand or type. As a result of the operational practices described in this section, we may have to offer the customer an alternative toy to the one requested. 

All balances or full rental amounts owed to the Toy Mahal Services will be collected by the delivery men on delivery in CASH/Cheque  ONLY. Please note that the delivery team does not give refunds for the refundable deposit; the Toy Mahal Services LLP  administrative team deal with this.

cleaning of toys

The Toy Mahal Services LLP takes the health and safety of your children very seriously.  As such, we use 100% all-natural antibacterial cleaning products to clean the toys. 

rental renewals

All rental renewals will be done via cheque/cash on the scheduled dates.


You may cancel your reservation or rental only after completion of the month. Damages if any would be recovered from the refundable deposit. The One Time Membership fees , Rental & Delivery charges would not be refunded in any situation. 



By using The Toy Mahal Services LLP, you are expressly agreeing that we are permitted to charge you for the rental and rental extensions. Additional charges you may incur will be in connection with damaged toys, toys that are returned very dirty, purchase of new or used toys and any service level changes you request. Customers can use one of the following methods to make payment for rentals:

  • Interbank transfer directly to our bank account over the internet from the customer’s bank account (NEFT/RTGS)
  • Over the counter cash payment at any HDFC bank, request the cashier to use your full name, or quotation/Invoice number as reference on the transaction, for easy identification.
  • Come to our showroom and pay by cash, Cheque or Visa/Master cards

You are required to let us know once you have made the payment so that we can check and confirm, your payment transaction needs to be easily identifiable for quick processing. 

Payments charged for damaged toys are required to be settled within 14 days; late payments will incur extra charges per day.

In the event that a toy is broken upon delivery or self-collection (before the customer leaves the office), our delivery crew will contact us immediately or the customer should notify us immediately for a replacement toy. If you do not contact us, we will assume the toy was/were damaged by the customer, and we will charge for the same . 

For self-collecting customers, every toy will be checked in your presence before it’s rented, if it is returned damaged, the customer will be charged the full retail value deducting depreciation charges. 

All inflatable toys delivered by our delivery crew will be inflated for the customer in their presence. Once our delivery crew leave, any damage that occurs after, the customer will be responsible and charged the full retail value. 

lost or missing toys

In the event that a toy is lost or stolen while in the care of the customer, the customer will be charged the full retail value for the replacement of the toy deducting the depreciation charge.

returning rented toys

All rented toys are given a due date which the customer can ask for if he forgot the date of delivery or can check online as well or can ask us on whatsapp.

All toys that are returned have to be checked by the administrative staff for any damage or level of dirt. Please be prepared to wait when you return the toys as this takes time. For those customers returning inflatables, you have two options:

  • Leave the inflatable for administrative staff to blow it up later and late you know by email regarding any damages.
  • Stay around for at least 2 hours after the toy has be inflated so that it can be certified okay.

All toys rented out in bags, containers, boxes or wrappings, should be returned in their respective containers. If a toy/s is/are returned without the respective bag, container, box or wrapping, the customer will be charged for a new box, container, bag or wrapping for the toy/s; amount which will be retail value set by the company. 

All toys rented out to customers are cleaned and sterilized beforehand. All toys should be returned cleaned by customers as they were received. Toys returned dirty will incur a charge as follows: 

  • small toys = 50/- each
  • big toys = 100/- each

The Toy Mahal Services LLP, INCLUDING ALL FEATURES ASSOCIATED THEREWITH, THE website AND ITS CONTENTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND AND WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO The Toy Mahal Services LLP, THE website AND ITS CONTENTS. standard hold harmless agreement

FOR GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, the customers of The Toy Mahal Services LLP jointly and severally agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Toy Mahal Services LLP and all employees therein from any claim, action, liability, loss, damage or suit, arising from the following: Any injury incurred by broken or whole toys received from The Toy Mahal Services LLP and any corruption on any electronics used to access the Toy Mahal Services LLP website.

use of information submitted

The Toy Mahal Services LLP., is free to use any comments, information, ideas, concepts, reviews, or techniques or any other material contained in any communication you may send to The Toy Mahal Services LLP ("Content"), including, without limitation, responses to questionnaires or through postings to the Toy Mahal Services LLP website without further compensation, acknowledgement or payment to you for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products and creating, modifying or improving the Toy Mahal Services LLP website or other websites. buying toys

The Toy Mahal Services LLP sells certain (New & Used) toys that are part of the rental program. Members receive 40% discounts on used toy purchases, no limit. To purchase, send us an email or visit our office. Please note that no toy will be sold without the full amount being paid in advance. If you require delivery of the item, additional delivery charges will be added.

In addition, other Web sites may link to the Toy Mahal Services LLP Web site. The Toy Mahal Services LLP has not reviewed these Web sites and is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of these Web sites. The Toy Mahal Services LLP Web site contains links to sites operated by third parties whose policies regarding the handling of personal information may differ from ours. While we endeavor to associate with reputable sites, The Toy Mahal Services LLP cannot be responsible for the information handling practices of these other sites. 

toy care policy

Treating our toys gently and keeping them in the best possible shape is an essential part of the Toy Rental Program. Customers must adhere to the following Toy Care Policies: 

  • Unless a toy is a water toy, Toys are not for use in-water
  • Unless a toy is a high-chair toy, please do not allow your children to handle the toys with food.
  • Customers are required to wipe down any toys with visible debris ie. food, dirt, etc. before returning the toys back to The Toy Mahal Services LLP. The Toy Mahal Services LLP is committed to cleaning and fully sanitizing each toy before it is rented. Any toy that is returned heavily soiled ie. smeared with food, ketchup, etc. or corroded with sand or dirt may result in an additional cleaning fee of 50/- Rs. per toys – small size and 100/- per toy - big. If the Toy Mahal staff are unable to get any toy returned by a customer clean enough to remain in the rental program, the customer will be charge for the full retail value replacement.

Amendments to this policy

As we update and expand our services, we will from time to time make changes to this policy without prior notice. You should therefore check the policy regularly for any updates that will have been made. Like our Terms and Conditions, of which this policy is a part, your use of The Toy Mahal Services LLP Web site or continued use of our service means that you agree to be bound by such changes.
